Nittenau (dpa / lby) – A 37-year-old from the Upper Palatinate is said to have sold marijuana on the Darknet. He also used a fake doctor’s diploma, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday.
During a search of the man’s apartment in Nittenau (Schwandorf district) in May, several marijuana plants were found. He also wanted to buy prescription drugs in an online pharmacy with the help of the forged doctor’s diploma – but he was unsuccessful. A fake vaccination card was also found in the apartment.
The man is being investigated for violating the Narcotics Act and forgery. The Darknet is a network within the Internet that can only be accessed with special software and is intended to offer extensive anonymity.
