Dresden (dpa / sn) – Customs in Dresden has withdrawn branded clothing worth almost two million euros. As the customs office announced on Monday, the goods were on a truck that wanted to go to Poland coming from Turkey. When checking the cargo, the officials found numerous bags with different items of clothing. “A more detailed check revealed that these were counterfeit branded products that violated the intellectual property rights of five well-known manufacturers,” it said. A total of almost 43,000 T-shirts, 6,000 pairs of trousers and 376 pairs of sports shoes were seized.
