Erfurt (dpa/th) – On Friday (4 p.m.) in Erfurt, the prizes in the competition for the “Golden Spatz” children’s media prize will be awarded. At this year’s edition of Germany’s largest children’s media festival, 35 film and television contributions compete for the award in five categories. A jury of 32 children viewed and evaluated the submitted entries. At the beginning of the festival, the actor Gojko Miti? called the jury the “toughest critics” for filmmakers. The festival, which originated in the GDR, was founded in 1979.
