Leipzig (dpa / sn) – Katja Greulich will give up her post as coach of the women’s team of second division soccer club RB Leipzig after the season at her own request. The 37-year-old informed the club on Sunday, as RB said on Monday. Greulich became the head coach of the Leipzig women’s team for the 2018/19 season and managed to get promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2020. This season, the team missed promotion to the women’s Bundesliga. The club wants to inform about Greulich’s successor at a later date.
