A woman and her little son died due to a fall at the Petco Park Stadium of San Diego (California) before a game of the big baseball leagues for even unknown causes, the researchers said on Sunday.

The spokeswoman of the San Diego Police Department, Andra Brown, explained that deaths occurred shortly before the start of Saturday’s match among the parents of San Diego and the Atlanta Braves.

The woman, 40, and her son, two, fell from the third floor of the stadium to the street, where they died after agents tried to revive them.

“They were in a dining / concession area at the level of the esplanade before the fall,” Brown explained.

The spokeswoman noted that the causes of the incident and, “by caution, the Homicide Unit of the San Diego police were called on the scene”.

Local means of communication reported that the child’s father was also in the stadium when deaths occurred.
