Hardee’s, in partnership with Special Olympics Virginia (SOVA), is running a fundraiser through November 8th to support athletes with disabilities. This initiative aims to help these athletes participate in the 2025 Summer Games in Richmond. Guests at Hardee’s restaurants operated by Boddie-Noell Enterprises are encouraged to donate $1, $3, $5, or more to contribute to this cause. As a token of appreciation, donors will receive a coupon sheet with discounts on their favorite Hardee’s menu items for their next visit.

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, the largest Hardee’s franchise operator in the U.S., has been supporting Special Olympics Virginia for 44 years. They have raised over $2 million during this partnership. Additionally, Boddie-Noell is a sponsor of the Summer Games, providing meals to around 1,200 athletes during the event. Bill Boddie, the vice president of operations at Boddie-Noell Enterprises, expressed the significance of their partnership with SOVA, emphasizing the incredible work that the organization does for individuals with disabilities across Virginia.

In addition to fundraising, Boddie-Noell and Hardee’s collaborate on the Special Olympics Virginia Training for Life program. Boddie-Noell is the oldest partner of Special Olympics Virginia and has continuously supported their initiatives for more than four decades. Customers have actively participated in the annual fundraiser and the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Virginia, which raises over a million dollars each year.

Special Olympics’ mission is to offer year-round sports training and athletic competition in various Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
