Germering (dpa / lby) – Eight cars were damaged by a piece of plastic lying around on Autobahn 96 in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. The police said on Friday that three cars had collided so hard with the one-by-two-meter part that they stopped driving. The piece of plastic was lying on the road near Germering along with shards of glass on Thursday morning, but it was initially unclear what it was. A stranger probably lost it. The police are investigating a hit-and-run accident.
