A minor under the age of 16 and a young man aged 18 have died early in the morning in the Avila municipality of La Adrada, in the south of the province, in a traffic accident in which two other young women aged 22 and 19 and A minor under 15 has been injured, the latter seriously.

The 19-year-old girl has been transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Ávila Assistance Complex, located 85 kilometers away, while the minor has been evacuated in a medicalized helicopter to the Puerta de Hierro hospital, in Majadahonda (Madrid), according to The Emergency Service 112 was informed.

In addition, the fifth occupant of the injured car, another 22-year-old girl, has been transferred on basic life support to the Ávila hospital, as updated by the emergency service.

The event occurred around 9:08 in the morning, when a call to the Castilla y León 112 Emergency Center reported an accident at kilometer 18,000 of the CL-501, as it passed through La Adrada ( Avila).

According to 112, the car has gone off the road, resulting in injuries to its five occupants, four women and one man, two of whom were trapped inside the passenger compartment.

As a consequence of the accident, 112 has notified the Traffic Subsector of the Civil Guard of Ávila, the Fire Department of the capital and the Sacyl Health Emergencies, which have mobilized an emergency medicalized unit and a medicalized helicopter.

Likewise, it has notified three basic life support ambulances, and the medical team of the Continuous Care Point in the nearby town of Sotillo de la Adrada.

Once at the scene, the emergency services have confirmed the death of two of the occupants: an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.

Likewise, they have treated the other injured: the two young women aged 22 and 19 who have been transferred by basic life support ambulance to the Ávila hospital, and a minor under 15, who has been evacuated by medicalized helicopter at the Puerta de Hierro hospital from Majadahonda, in Madrid.
