Alpirsbach (dpa / lsw) – A flock of sheep on the tracks forced a train driver to brake quickly. As the federal police announced on Friday, the animals escaped from their fenced pasture on Thursday afternoon and were traveling on the Alte Gäubahn between Alpirsbach (Freudenstadt district) and Schenkenzell (Rottweil district). The state police found the owner of the sheep. The woman brought the animals back to the pasture after an hour. According to a spokesman for the federal police, the train was able to continue driving at a reduced speed shortly after the incident.
