Goslar (dpa/lhe) – At the start of the conference of environment ministers from the federal and state governments in Goslar, Hesse called for more commitment to the water supply. According to the ministry, Environment Minister Priska Hinz (Greens) presented a proposal for a resolution on Thursday. In it she called for “a committed implementation of the national water strategy” and warned of “urgent personnel and financing requirements for nature and climate protection”. “We must intensify the joint efforts of the federal, state and water suppliers to manage limited water resources and protect drinking water,” explained Hinz.
