Hassmersheim (dpa/lsw) – A 74-year-old scooter driver died in a head-on collision near Hassmersheim (Neckar-Odenwald district). The man got into the oncoming lane of the state road for an initially unknown reason and collided with a car there, the police said on Wednesday. According to police, the driver was unable to get out of the way in time. The 74-year-old succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident on Wednesday.
