Furtwangen (dpa / lsw) – Because of threatening emails, there have been police operations at three locations of Furtwangen University (Schwarzwald-Baar district). The email messages contained diffuse statements and images, police said on Wednesday. Therefore, the entrances to the university in Furtwangen, Schwenningen and Tuttlingen were closed and access was monitored. At the same time, the alleged originator of the messages was found. A 37-year-old former student at the university is said to have sent the emails for an initially unknown reason. The police took him into custody on Wednesday.
