Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) – Burglars baked pizza in a Karlsruhe restaurant and ate it there immediately. They also helped themselves to the drinks in the fridge and took around 100 euros in change, a police spokeswoman said on Monday. The intruders pried open the front door on Saturday, using several kitchen utensils and ingredients. An employee of the restaurant later discovered the devastated kitchen when he wanted to open the pizzeria for evening business. The extent of the damage was initially unclear.
