Dettenhausen (dpa / lsw) – Two defects in the power grid caused a four-hour power failure in Dettenhausen (Tübingen district). In parts of the community there was no more electricity on Saturday shortly after 1 p.m., as the Tübingen public utility company announced on Monday. From 2:00 p.m., there was also a short period of electricity in the rest of the community.

The power supply was fully restored around four hours after the first failure. Eight transformer stations failed as a result of the two defects. Civil engineering work to rectify the faults began on Sunday.
