Balingen (dpa / lsw) – A house and a barn burned down in Balingen on Monday night. According to the police, the residents had already evacuated the building by the time emergency services arrived. A firefighter was injured by smoke fumes. The fire broke out in the barn and spread through the roof structure to the attached, older residential building. The residential building is no longer habitable. The damage is estimated at around 400,000 euros. The cause of the fire was unclear.
