Buchen (dpa/lsw) – A man is said to have stabbed a roommate in a refugee accommodation in Buchen (Neckar-Odenwald district) with a knife and is therefore in custody. The 28-year-old is suspected of attempted manslaughter, police and prosecutors said on Wednesday. He is said to have held the knife to his opponent’s neck during a dispute on Friday night and then stabbed the man twice in the back.
Because the 41-year-old victim initially only suspected a slight injury, the two men went their separate ways. Only when the victim was getting worse and worse the following day did he speak to a supervisor. Serious injuries were then found in a clinic and the police were called. The suspect was arrested on Monday.
