Horb am Neckar (dpa / lsw) – When driving on a downhill stretch, a truck in Horb am Neckar (Freudenstadt district) broke through a guardrail and slid down a slope. The 32-year-old driver was injured, police said. The accident happened on Friday as the truck went straight on a 180-degree turn. It was not initially known why the vehicle loaded with a mini excavator took this route.
The truck slid several meters down the slope, overturned and hit a tree. The driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. A specialist company with two truck-mounted cranes had to be deployed for the salvage. The fire brigade and road maintenance department were also on duty.
