Eichstätt (dpa / lby) – With a well-known scam, strangers brought a 91-year-old from Eichstätt around 145,000 euros. The scammers posed as police officers on the phone and claimed that a friend of the senior had to go to jail for causing the accident, police said on Thursday. A bail should prevent that. The 91-year-old handed over the required sum to two collectors on Wednesday afternoon.
