Erlangen (dpa / lby) – Since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression, 96 people from Ukraine have been treated in Bavarian hospitals. Bavaria’s Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU) wanted to visit two Ukrainian patients at the University Hospital in Erlangen on Thursday evening to find out about their care. Injured and other emergencies from the war zone are distributed to the clinics via a Germany-wide system. This has already proven itself during the corona pandemic, said Holetschek. The integrated control center in Nuremberg is responsible for this in Bavaria. The University Hospital Erlangen has so far taken care of 13 patients from Ukraine.
