Nordendorf (dpa / lby) – A driver was slightly injured near Augsburg by a stone throw. The impact of the stone on Monday in the windshield of the car on the federal highway 2 in Nordendorf (Augsburg district) broke loose glass, which slightly injured the woman’s hand, the police said. According to a police spokesman, it was the 19th time since the end of October that a stone had been thrown at a vehicle on the B2. The 60-year-old woman was the second person to be injured.
It was initially unclear whether several people were responsible for the stone-throwing or whether the same perpetrators were responsible. Despite a quick search with a helicopter, the police were unable to catch the perpetrator on Monday. The police are investigating dangerous interventions in road traffic and are increasingly patrolling the area.
