Luhe-Wildenau (dpa/lby) – Criminals blew up an ATM in Luhe-Wildenau in the Upper Palatinate and fled with their loot. According to the State Criminal Police Office (LKA), the machine was installed in an apartment building on Tuesday. According to initial investigations, it is likely three perpetrators who fled in a dark car in the direction of Autobahn 93 after the crime early Tuesday morning. In the coming days, the explosives used are to be examined in the Forensic Institute of the LKA in Munich. The LKA did not provide any information on the amount of the loot. The number of ATM blasts has recently increased throughout Bavaria.
