Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – At an intersection in Nuremberg, a police car collided with another car on the way to an operation. A police spokeswoman said on Tuesday that the two colleagues had driven through a red traffic light onto the intersection without blue lights and a siren and had overlooked the other car. In the collision, the police car rolled onto its side and was crushed against a shop window.
The fire department had to free the two police officers from the car. They suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for further examinations. The driver of the other car also suffered minor injuries. The traffic police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
