Pfronten (dpa / lby) – A man fell during a hike in the Allgäu and died as a result of his injuries. The mountain rescue service rescued the 63-year-old after his fall on Saturday near a gorge near Pfronten (Ostallgäu district), the police said on Monday. A rescue helicopter flew him to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. The police assume that it was an accident.
