Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – Federal police officers probably saved the life of a passenger on a train in Central Franconia. The train patrol found the 63-year-old lifeless in an IC on the journey from Nuremberg to Ansbach, as a spokesman for the Nuremberg Federal Police Inspectorate announced on Wednesday.
The man’s pulse could no longer be felt and he was no longer breathing. Officers immediately began first aid. After more than 20 minutes of resuscitation, the alerted emergency doctor managed to bring the 63-year-old back to life with the help of a defibrillator. He was taken to a hospital after Tuesday’s incident.
