Schechen (dpa / lby) – In a head-on collision between two cars on the federal highway 15 in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, two people died on Wednesday. The 63-year-old driver of one car could only be recovered dead, the police said. The driver of the other car, a 32-year-old, died in hospital. Both men were trapped in their vehicles by the impact.

In order to clarify the exact cause of the accident, the Rosenheim public prosecutor ordered an expert opinion. Both cars were totally damaged. The scene of the accident was closed for three hours.
