Augsburg (dpa / lby) – The construction work on the railway line between Peißenberg and Schongau in the Weilheim-Schongau district has been delayed by almost another week. According to the Netz AG of the Deutsche Bahn (DB), incorrect switch parts were delivered, which are necessary for the work on the route due to a derailed train, the Bayerische Regiobahn GmbH announced on Friday. The route is expected to be open to trains again from Thursday night (February 22nd to 23rd).
The two trains with departures at 11:19 p.m. and at 12:19 a.m. from Weilheim via Peißenberg should therefore go back to schedule on Thursday night. There is no longer any rail replacement service (SEV) with buses for these two trains. Until then, the SEV buses will continue to operate according to the previously valid special timetable. The special timetables are available for passengers to download at www.brb.de.
