However, the exact cause of the fire still has to be determined, said a spokeswoman for the police headquarters in southern Hesse in Darmstadt on Monday. On the night of Sunday there was a fire in an unlocked storage room below a stage, which went on to another storage room. A celebration was taking place at the civic center at the time of the fire. There were no injuries. The police estimate that damage to property was in the six-figure range.
