Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – The regional directorate of the employment agency wants to announce the October figures for the Hessian job and training market today (10 a.m.). After the number of unemployed women and men had risen in recent months, mainly due to war refugees from Ukraine, it fell again for the first time in September. A total of 171,161 women and men in Hesse were registered as unemployed. This corresponded to a rate of 5.0 percent.
Employers in Hesse reported over 34,000 training places for the 2021/2022 training year – four percent more than in the previous year. Economics Minister Al-Wazir (Greens) and the head of the regional directorate, Frank Martin, will find out more about this in the central Hessian city of Lich.
