Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – After a fire, an apartment in a house in downtown Wiesbaden is uninhabitable for the time being. Around 40 emergency services came to the fire on the first floor on Monday evening, the fire brigade said. The occupants of the house were able to escape unharmed via a staircase to the outside. The fire was quickly extinguished. However, the fire apartment is currently no longer habitable, and the damage is reported to be around 50,000 euros. The residents of the other apartments were later able to return to the house. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
