Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – The Goethe University in Frankfurt has to withdraw commitments for places to study medicine and dentistry. Due to a transmission error in the replacement places, significantly more places were allocated for the 2022/2023 winter semester than capacity permitted, the university announced on Friday. A crisis team was then set up and all those affected were informed within 48 hours. The university is in contact with those affected and has expressed its extreme regret. When asked, the university was unable to answer how many prospective students are affected.
