Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The Hessian state government wants to present data on the income differences between women and men in the state this Friday (9.15 a.m.). Social Affairs Minister Kai Klose (Greens) will present the most important results of the Hessian wage atlas in Wiesbaden together with Christa Larsen from the Institute for Economics, Labor and Culture at Frankfurt’s Goethe University.
On the occasion of the International Day of Action for Equal Pay for Women and Men (Equal Pay Day), the State Statistical Office announced in March that women earned significantly less on average and that the income gap in Hesse was 18 percent last year.
