Viernheim (dpa / lhe) – A semi-trailer truck overturned at the Viernheimer Dreieck and caused major traffic delays. The 34-year-old driver was injured on Tuesday afternoon and taken to a hospital in an ambulance, police said. A rescue helicopter that landed as a precaution at the accident site in the Bergstrasse district in southern Hesse was not used. The truck driver drove from Autobahn 6 via a tangent to Autobahn 67. There he lost control of his vehicle, after which the truck overturned. The tangent to Autobahn 67 to the south was initially completely closed.
