Friedewald (dpa / lhe) – A truck drove into a crash barrier and caused a traffic jam on Autobahn 4 near Friedewald (Hersfeld-Rotenburg district). It was initially unclear why the truck crashed into the guardrail on Wednesday night, the police said. Smoke developed from the truck upon impact. Nobody got hurt. The A4 eastbound was closed for the salvage work. Police expect the lockdown to be lifted early Wednesday evening.
