Heavy rain, thunderstorms and severe weather will soon be possible throughout divisions of the Southeast and Florida whilst snow and ice will make travel difficult if not impossible throughout portions of their Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Between a quarter into some half-inch of ice will be possible in parts of North Carolina upwards into Virginia. Dangerous driving conditions, electricity outage failures and shrub harm is going to be some of those dangers there over the following 24 hours.

Freezing rain and snow will also fall across portions of the 1-95 corridor from D.C. into Philadelphia.

Snow levels of 3 to 6 inches will be possible in the Lower Hudson Valley into New England, whilst snow showers will linger through Saturday throughout the Northeast.

Meanwhile, the freezing, dangerously cold air will require a while to escape especially throughout the south. The temperatures will probably be 20 to 30 degrees below average for a broad swath of the plains, which isn’t valuable for people who have been without heat or power for days.

Another round of snow and rain will move in the Northwest from Northern California to Washington state.
