Khalistani terrorists have a history of targeting Air India flights, with the infamous Kanishka bombing being a tragic example of their violence in the past. The leader of the terrorist group Sikhs for Justice, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has now issued threats against specific Air India flight routes, urging Indians to boycott certain flights.
In a recent video, Pannun specifically targeted flights from India to destinations like the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia. He called for the boycott of flights such as AI 187 and AI 189 from New Delhi to Toronto, AI 185 from New Delhi to Vancouver, AI 111 and AI 161 from New Delhi to London, AI 129 and AI 131 from Mumbai to London, AI 302 from New Delhi to Sydney, AI 308 from New Delhi to Melbourne, and AI 121 from New Delhi to Frankfurt.
Pannun also made incendiary remarks, urging Sikhs to “kill India economically” and to commemorate the assassin of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on October 31. He called for attacks on Air India, as well as Made In India initiatives, in an attempt to destabilize and divide the country.
Intelligence sources have expressed concern over the fact that Pannun is freely issuing threats from countries like the US, UK, and Canada, despite being a wanted terrorist by India. They warn that these threats could incite radical elements to take violent action against Air India, posing a significant risk to the airline and its passengers.
The open threats from Pannun highlight the ongoing challenge of combating terrorism and extremism, especially when it is allowed to flourish on foreign soil. The global community must work together to address these threats and prevent further violence and instability.
