Anklam (dpa/mv) – The roadway renewal on Autobahn 20 between the Jarmen and Anklam junctions was completed four months earlier than originally planned. This ended one of Autobahn GmbH’s largest construction projects in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, according to a statement on Wednesday. It is a twelve kilometer long section. 190,000 tons of asphalt were used. Just in time for the holiday season, motorists could look forward to more driving comfort and even a little fuel savings, since the new surface has better grip.
