Rostock (dpa / mv) – A 24-year-old woman from Rostock has had to answer to the Rostock Regional Court since Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder. At the beginning of the trial, the prosecutor accused her of stabbing her sleeping partner in the lungs with a kitchen knife in February. According to the prosecutor, it was an insidious and insidious attack on the unsuspecting victim.
Before that, the accused and the later victim would have drunk alcohol and watched films in the man’s apartment in the evening. There was no argument between the two until the man fell asleep. So far, nothing is known about the motive of the accused. After consulting her lawyer, she decided to remain silent about the allegations for the time being.
According to the presiding judge, the court has the recording of the emergency call that the accused made after the crime. Accordingly, she had apparently pulled the knife out of the body and tried to close the wound.
According to the prosecutor, the victim only survived the sting because medical care was available quickly. The trial is scheduled to continue next Tuesday with the witness hearing of the victim. So far, the court has scheduled four more hearing days in September for the process.
