Stralsund (dpa / mv) – The police in the Stralsund region caught two drivers in broad daylight who were driving cars without registration and insurance, without valid license plates and without a driver’s license. Both men, aged 56 and 41, come from the Vorpommern-Rügen district, do not have a driver’s license and had to leave their cars, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
The older of the two drivers was stopped near Martensdorf on Tuesday. The 56-year-old, who considers himself part of the Reich citizen scene, had no license plate number on the car. During the personnel check, he attacked two policewomen, but they were able to fend them off, it was said. Then it came out that there were still two outstanding arrest warrants against his passenger. However, she was then able to pay the required fine for administrative offenses and thus ward off the substitute detention and leave.
The 41-year-old was stopped with a car in Stralsund. However, the number plates on the car belonged to another car, and the man was also under the influence of drugs. A number of investigations were now underway against both men.
