Leipzig (dpa/sn) – Three men were arrested during searches in the Volkmarsdorf district of Leipzig. The narcotics inspectorate of the Leipzig criminal police searched four apartments and a commercial facility, the police said on Wednesday. Tuesday’s operation was part of an investigation into illicit drug trafficking.
There were outstanding arrest warrants for the three arrested men, aged 29, 30 and 36. The officers seized almost a kilogram of heroin, a good 200 grams of cocaine, around 100 grams of marijuana as well as crystal meth and hashish. In addition, several mobile phones and cash in the mid four-digit range were confiscated.
