Premiere all over Marta Ortega after the announcement that in April will assume the presidency of Inditex.
Just one day after the announcement, it was able to boast another achievement: that the exhibition Untold Stories, of the photographer Peter Lindbergh, rises in Spain after its passage through Germany or Italy and also, surrounded by some of the best-known faces of the
Fashion with national and international seal.
The exhibition, which the Financial Times has rated as one of the five most important cultural appointments this year, is exhibited in Spain by the influence of Marta Ortega, a personal friend of the photographer, now deceased, and the one who commissioned the photos of his
Wedding with Carlos Torretta in 2018.
The claim quoted political and institutional authorities such as President Gallego, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, or Mayor Coruña, Inés Rey, but also had academic support at the Rector of the University of A Coruña (UDC), Julio Abalde, and managers of
Inditex as the still president, Pablo Isla, and the new CEO, Óscar García Maceiras.
But if some support caught the attention in the city was that of the celebrities who did not want to miss the date of the year and went to the rear dinner at the Coruñés battery pier.
A dinner full of stars who did not miss figures like Naomi Campbell, one of the Fetish models of Peter Lindbergh.
The Patious Celebrities were represented by the Jon Kortejarena, Intimate Friend of the Hostess, who had already been at his second wedding;
The model and actress Esther Cañadas or the actress Rossy de Palma.
The exclusive dinner had a menu by Chef Javier Olleros, the Culler de Pau de O Grove restaurant, recognized with two Michelin stars and three Suns Repsol, and could be followed through the social networks of some of the attendees.
Through them he could guess others of the attendees, such as Diana Widmaier Ruiz Picasso, granddaughter of Pablo Picasso and reputed French art historian specializing in modern art.
The content of the exhibition was very present and represented at dinner, which they also invited the architect Elsa Urquijo, responsible for the architectural intervention of the sample, or Benjamin Lindbergh, son of the photographer.
It was the first great act of Marta Ortega and did not want to miss Pierpaolo Piccioli, designer of Valentino and who designed the four wedding looks of the daughter of Amancio Ortega and a great heiress of the multinational.
They did not miss, as he could see at the ‘Stories’ of the famous, photographer Gallego Manuel Vilariño, National Prize of Photography;
Also photographers Carlos Puig Padilla and Juan Gatti;
o Eugenia de la Torant and Benedetta Poletti, deputy director of the country and editor-head of Elle Spain, respectively.
