Halle/Erfurt (dpa/th) – The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency will publish the November statistics for Thuringia on Wednesday (10 a.m.). Experts expect that the Thuringian labor market will remain stable despite the energy crisis, inflation and the Ukraine war. Most recently, the unemployment rate in Bavaria was 5.4 percent. Around 59,300 people were unemployed in October. That was about 800 fewer unemployed than in the previous month and around 4,800 fewer than a year ago.
According to experts at the Nuremberg Institute for Labor Market and Vocational Research (IAB), a stable labor market helps to avoid a serious recession. In addition, in view of the population development, companies are still looking for skilled workers for the future.
