Weimar (dpa/th) – The Thuringian state government sees itself prepared for a possible power failure. The emergency had been rehearsed, the necessary equipment had withstood the stress test and was ready for use at any time, the state administration office said on Friday.
Both the mobile power generators, which are stationed with the professional fire brigades in Erfurt and Weimar, as well as the batteries in the house and the emergency power generator have been extensively tested under the greatest possible load. In the event of a disaster, the coordination staff in the Thuringian state administration office takes over the procurement, bundling, evaluation and control of situation information in Thuringia. That’s why there are extra emergency power generators there for emergencies.
