Schmalkalden (dpa/th) – In an accident between Wernshausen and Schmalkalden in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, three people were injured, one of them seriously. A 66-year-old driver ignored the right of way of a 62-year-old on Monday afternoon, the police said on Tuesday. The two cars collided. Because of the impact, the car that caused the accident turned around and crashed into the rear car of a 61-year-old woman. The 66-year-old was seriously injured in the accident, his two passengers slightly. The police did not provide information on the age and gender of the passengers. The route was completely closed during the accident investigation and recovery.
