The former Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto (2012-2018) ended his relationship with the model and businesswoman Tania Ruiz, with whom he had been dating since the beginning of 2019, according to what the woman told Hola! magazine.
“Enrique and I are no longer together, but we still love each other very much,” Ruiz, 35, revealed to the publication.
The Mexican, originally from the state of San Luis Potosí, said that despite the breakup she will maintain her residence in Spain, where she lived with Peña Nieto and their children after he received a visa last November for his million-dollar investments in the country.
This was the third known relationship of the former president, after his first wife, Mónica Pretelini, died in 2007, with whom he had three children and in 2019 he broke up his marriage to Angélica Rivera, with whom he was married for nine years.
Peña Nieto now lives in a house he bought in Madrid, through which he obtained his visa, away from the three investigations that the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) has opened against him for alleged money laundering and illicit enrichment.
