The Civil Guard has stopped in Mogan (Gran Canaria) to four men of moroccan nationality, aged between 26 and 32 years, as alleged perpetrators of crimes of sexual assault and sexual abuse of a tourist in a foreign the past 26 December at a shopping centre south of the island.
The Headquarters of The Palms today reports that the arrests of M. E, A., I. Y. and B. A. were the past days 18 and 23 October in the framework of the operation Crowd.
The investigation began following a complaint of the victim, filed on the same day of the facts, who stated that a person had raped her after driving to the rear of a local public.
After that first assault, a second man was placed on his back and, holding it tightly, tried to rape her again, but the victim said that maintained an intense struggle until he was able to flee the scene.
The researchers initiated actions based on the input data provided by the victim and obtained, in addition, some recordings of security that noted the version of the complainant.

Well, the recordings of security revealed that the victim had borne a greater burden than I previously thought, because at that night there were five men who assaulted her and sexually abused.
The researchers found evidence that support the first aggressor isolated to the victim, who had impaired their physical capabilities due to alcohol consumption and that, in spite of to reveal his negative and firm opposition to sexual intercourse, underwent against their will.
After that first episode, they agreed to place three other men who took turns to sexually abuse the tourist, using that he was unconscious on the floor as a result of the alcohol he had ingested.

The Guardia Civil made inquiries to identify all of its participants in order to locate them, arrest them and bring them to justice, in proceedings which were complicated because part of the investigated were in an irregular situation and whereabouts are unknown.
After various operating devices, the armed institute proceeded between days 18 and 23 of October to stop M. E, A., I. Y. and B. A. for the alleged crimes of sexual assault and sexual abuse.
The arrested were passed to the disposal of the appropriate Court, in the roles of guard, San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), who were released with charges and with precautionary measures.
The Civil Guard adds in its statement that the investigation for these crimes is still open and that does not rule out more arrests.
