Top German actress Nina Hoss can be seen alongside two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett at this year’s Venice Film Festival. The film “TÁR” by the American Todd Fields, in which Blanchett embodies a chief conductor, is one of a total of 23 films in competition for the Golden Lion in the northern Italian lagoon city. Parts of the film were shot in the Dresden Philharmonic.
