A broadcaster from a state broadcaster has been shot dead in the mexican city of Acapulco, according to have reported this Wednesday, the authorities, in the most recent chapter of a wave of attacks against workers of the means of communication.
Gabriel Soriano, who worked for the System of Radio and Television of the state of Guerrero (RTG), was assaulted on the night of this Wednesday, when he was traveling in a pickup truck by a busy street of the tourist town.

The state Attorney General’s office has reported that it has initiated an investigation for the killing of a communicator.
“we deeply Regret the irreparable and sensitive loss of Gabriel Soriano. We join the grief felt by family and friends,” said RTG through their account on the social network Twitter.
Mexico is mired in a spiral of violence linked to the bloody battles between drug cartels for control of the territory.
The journalists, in particular, have become the target of violence in the country, ranked as one of the most dangerous to practice the profession.
