last October 19, Shudada posted a message to his Twitter profile that said the following: “This is to announce that I am proud of becoming a muslim. This is the natural conclusion of any theological journey smart. All bible study leads to Islam. Which makes all the other scriptures are redundant. I will have (another) new name. It Will Be Shuhada'”. That same day, posted a video singing the adhan, the call to islamic prayer.

Since then, O’connor has uploaded several pictures wearing a hijab (veil), some of which the sample along with a panel half-written in that it can be read as: “I have removed my body, I have removed my mind, I have removed my children, but I never then my voice.” In addition, this Friday has uploaded another message to the turmoil caused by his conversion: “Many thanks to all of my muslim brothers and sisters who have been so kind to welcome me today to the Ummah on this page. You can not imagine how much your tenderness means everything to me.”
