Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – With a poster campaign, the Hessian Ministry of Education is recruiting prospective teachers. The Ministry of Education announced on Friday in Wiesbaden that there was a high demand for trained teachers, particularly at elementary schools, special schools and vocational schools. The posters will be seen across the country. “We want to get young people interested in teaching in Hesse in the long term, so that today’s students can become tomorrow’s teachers,” said Alexander Lorz (CDU), Minister of Education.
According to the information, an advertising campaign for junior teachers at schools has been running for a year. The poster motifs are intended to show “that future social issues such as digitization or climate change are closely linked to the topic of education”. The campaign also includes an online presence and a bus tour, which from January 2023 is intended to recruit young people for the teaching profession in schools.
