Karow (dpa / mv) – Fallow deer caused an accident near Karow (Ludwigslust-Parchim) with three vehicles and two injured. As a police spokesman said on Wednesday, a motorist braked sharply on State Road 37 in the morning when wildlife crossed the roadway. But that was too sudden for two following vehicles to crash into the first car. Both drivers of the cars that hit the road – a 33-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man – were taken to hospital with injuries. The damage was estimated at 25,000 euros, and the road was closed for an hour for the rescue. The wild animals fled.
